Grass Roots Animal Rescues

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Ever see ads or receive requests for contributions that tug at your heart… only to ask yourself how much of your contribution is going to marketing or administration expenses versus the work that you want to fund?

And, have you ever wanted to support grass roots non-profits because they are doing the work without getting the limelight and the funding?

Well, we do at SeaYu (Simon, our 6th child is a rescue dog) and we were able to connect with Romeo the Cat whose objective is to raise funds for local animal rescues by creating a forum where people (like us) can nominate and help our local non-profit organizations to receive donations.  This is a win-win solution for donors and pet rescues.  Not only do animal rescues receive 100% of the donations, but they also get exposure for the hard work they do for animals!

SeaYu is proud to be a corporate sponsor for Romeo the Cat!  Congratulations to the Spay Neuter Action Project of San Diego as the July Furpower recipient.
